Justine Fuhr couldn鈥檛 be prouder to be a Carmel mum and alumnus.

With daughter Danica in Kindy, Justine has had the opportunity to reconnect with the School, which has been fantastic. Since school, Justine has lived in Sydney for听two years. After completing a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Public Relations, Justine worked for eBay Australia in Sydney. But she missed Perth too much, returning home to my family. Justine then did a beauty course and found a small passion working with the face, specialising in facials and makeup before getting married and having two children now听two and four.

I love Perth and love the Carmel family I have returned to and feel blessed that my daughter has the opportunity to start her school journey with Carmel where she feels safe and supported always.

Mrs Lee-Ann Hislop (nee Cartoon)

I finished Year 12 at Carmel in 1999, and was Sport Captain and a member of Moriah House. I was fortunate to receive an outstanding Jewish and Secular education whilst at 国标麻豆视频APP, which stood me in great stead for the journey, both academic and personal, which lay ahead. After school, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law at UWA and I am currently a Tax Lawyer with EY. I loved my studies at uni and took the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at UBC in Vancouver whilst in 4thyear Law, which really opened my eyes to the broader world and the opportunities that were out there. I completed my legal articles at a great firm in WA and thereafter moved to Melbourne to continue my career as a tax lawyer, as well as to experience life in a larger Jewish community. I met my now husband, Barak, whilst in Melbourne and we then moved to London to work and travel for several years.

After a very busy and fulfilling few years in London, we decided that there was no better place to settle down than Perth. A big motivating factor in our decision was my outstanding experience at Carmel and the knowledge that there was such a strong and thriving Jewish day school in the community.

We now have two young daughters and love living in Perth, where my immediate and extended family also live. We look forward to our daughters experiencing the warmth, nurturing environment and brilliant education that Carmel offers.

Mr Ashley Hadassin

I graduated from Carmel in 1997 and went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University. After working in advertising for 9 years an opportunity arose to become my own boss and I moved into the field of IT. My company, HostAway, helps thousands of West Australian organisations with their web presence, including the site you are now visiting.

An age gap in my family meant that at least one of my siblings (pictured above) was enrolled at Carmel for 25 years in a row. I have fond memories of my schooling at Carmel and the friendships I made there are still going strong. I now have the pleasure of watching my children attend Carmel alongside the children of both old and new friends. I am impressed with the changes that have occurred at the school since my departure and appreciate the dedicated staff in a way that wasn鈥檛 possible as a student.

Miss Kessem Goldberg

I graduated from Carmel in 2015 and went on to study a Bachelor of Arts at UWA, majoring in Law and Society, and Business Law. I plan to study for the next seven years before venturing into the workforce as a lawyer.

The knowledge I gained throughout my time at Carmel has really held me in good stead for both my studies and my experiences in the 'real world'. I have kept in contact with my Carmel friends, some of my teachers and the Perth Jewish community.

Outside of uni, I involve myself in a number of social activism projects and hope to continue doing this into the future.听
